Warm hospitality and hearty breakfasts
Arrived to a jovial welcome from Diana, who treated us like family. Our spacious room was immaculate, and the full English breakfast energized our days exploring the charming town!
While the road noise was noticeable at times, especially from our front-facing room, it didn’t overshadow the delightful experience we had overall.

missingWrote a review on Sept 29long walkno biscuits
my stay was almost pleasant if it weren’t for the miles I had to walk to my room, and the utter disgrace of no biscuits to accompany my tea. i hoped to receive some sort of upgrade for such inconveniences, but alas, i left unsatisfied and just couldn’t give them a good review.

The spacious family room offered a private bathroom with a refreshingly powerful shower, perfect for unwinding after a day of exploration. Breakfast was a standout, featuring generous portions, especially delicious locally sourced ingredients, making it a great way to start the day.
The shower bracket was broken, requiring you to hold it while showering, which was a bit inconvenient. the road noise from outside could be noticeable at times, particularly if you’re in one of the front-facing rooms. While it’s about a 10-minute walk to local attractions, if you're traveling with young children, you might want to consider how that stroll could feel after a long day.

Diana was incredibly welcoming, providing a wealth of local knowledge that enhanced our visit. The breakfast featured quality locally sourced produce, especially delightful were the fresh fruit options. The shared kitchen was a convenient perk for late-night snacks, though the lack of lift made managing luggage a touch more challenging. The road noise could be noticeable at times, impacting the overall serenity of the stay.

Recommended for families
You won't believe how cute the host was, she really made us feel at home. I remember we were chatting about local places to visit, and she even suggested a great spot for the kids to enjoy, which was a lifesaver on a dull day.
Wasn't exactly cheap, but still reasonable for what you get.
